Job Summary:
The ICU Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner is a specialized healthcare professional working in the intensive care unit of a healthcare facility in Tyler, Texas. This role involves providing advanced patient care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, supporting interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment, and managing complex cases.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license, ACLS, BLS certifications, 2 years of experience preferred, experience with patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU settings, proficiency with the Epic charting system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in community hospital, LTAC, trauma level I or II, and travel experience preferred.
  • Additional Information: The unit supports adult and geriatric patients with a daily census of 7. The team includes IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy services, and more. Must complete core onboarding items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
