**Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to elevate your career in the Cardiovascular field? - As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - Your expertise will be essential in procedures such as temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. You'll also work with circulatory support devices like IABP and Impella. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and organize specialized equipment and sterile trays for each procedure. - Assist the procedure room team with patient positioning and monitoring preparations. - Calibrate and test transducers to ensure precise pressure readings. - Collaborate with physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Load and operate power injectors and associated sterile equipment. - Maneuver table controls as requested by physicians. - Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze hemodynamic data. - Record cardiac output and oximetry readings accurately. - Maintain digital cine technologies, including protocols for image and hemodynamic record management. - Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closure while ensuring hemostasis at access sites. - Manage inventory control and prepare necessary equipment for procedures. - Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) practices. - Operate equipment safely and care for supplies effectively. - Participate in on-call responsibilities as per the organizational policy. - Apply radial access banding while maintaining hemostasis. - Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias with precision. - Maintain, calibrate, and evaluate diagnostic and technical equipment regularly. - Lift at least 40 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 4 hours daily. - Tailor care based on patient population needs, enhancing communication with patients, parents, and caregivers. - Follow radiation safety standards according to the organization's policies. - Foster a professional environment embodying HMH core values: Collaboration, Courage, Compassion, and Creativity. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Completed 6-12 months in a CVT accredited program or two years in another cardiac vascular laboratory. - Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. **Education Requirements:** - Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program. **Required Certifications & Licensure:** - AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) Certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of employment. - Must successfully pass RCIS exam given by CCI or obtain Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
