Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Telemetry RN experience, including interval measurement and interpretation of telemetry strips
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours
• TR Band experience preferred
• Comfort using EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)
• Strong adaptability and willingness to float between multiple inpatient units

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care across a hospital float pool serving multiple telemetry and med/surg units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess telemetry findings, and report changes promptly
• Manage cardiac drips and support patients requiring close clinical monitoring
• Care for a variety of patient populations, including ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
• Float between assigned units as needed while maintaining safe, organized, patient-centered care
• Document accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a strong commitment to patient safety
