Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Telemetry certification or strong telemetry experience preferred
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips
• Experience managing cardiac drips
• Ability to float between multiple inpatient units
• Experience with TR Band preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Strong adaptability, communication skills, and comfort working in a dynamic healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care within a hospital float pool setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours
• Manage cardiac drips and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients across multiple med/surg telemetry areas and other assigned units
• Support a patient population that may include ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and ICU transfer-ready patients
• Float between different units based on patient care needs
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
