Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected start November 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
  • Care for post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placement patients, and stroke patients
  • Administer and monitor drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
  • Utilize facility EMR (Meditech), Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vitals machines
  • Float as needed to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
  • Work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience
  • Experience with post-cath recovery (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, and vasoactive drips (amiodarone, Cardizem)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
  • Experience in a high-acuity cardiac or PCU setting
