Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry, cardiac, or Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification
• Experience with Cerner required
• Comfort using LifePak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment
• Associate degree in Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry patients ranging from young adults to older adults
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with chest pain, atrial fibrillation, CHF, and pre/post cardiac catheterization needs
• Support patients undergoing VATS and other cardiac-related treatments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Use telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment accurately and efficiently
• Float as needed to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
• Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced, team-centered acute care environment
