HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bel Air, Maryland.
Facility: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air MSP
Location: Bel Air, MD
Start Date: 09/28/2026
Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Schedule: 3x12-hour nights; every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
Patient Ratio: Nights: 1:4
Charting System: EPIC
Float Required: Yes, within specialty; travelers are first to float
Call Requirement: No pre-scheduled call; may be placed on call in lieu of call-off
Note: 2 years of experience required. First-time travelers accepted with strong CPU/PCU experience and ability to manage higher acuity. Combined unit with higher-acuity patients. Navy blue scrubs.
Position Overview:
Provide high-acuity cardiac telemetry and PCU-level nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and cardiovascular conditions. The RN will monitor cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac therapies, provide respiratory support, and respond to clinical deterioration.

Requirements:
License: Active MD or Compact RN license at time of submission
Experience: 2 years of Cardiac Tele/Med-Tele experience; strong CPU/PCU experience accepted for first-time travelers
Certifications: BLS, NIHSS/NIH; ACLS preferred; CPI required for compliance
Other requirement: AHA certifications required where applicable; must be comfortable floating within specialty and caring for higher-acuity patients. Every-other-weekend and holiday coverage required.

Patient Diagnoses: CHF, COPD exacerbation (ECOPD), NSTEMI, new-onset AFib, cardiac arrhythmias, sepsis, renal failure/AKI, and other complex medical/cardiac diagnoses
