Travel RN – Cardiac Telemetry Unit

• Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
  Schedule: Weekend Program (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
  Hours: 36 Hours/Week

  MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/PCU experience
• IV Start and Telemetry skills required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• First-time travelers accepted

• Must pass EKG testing before start

  Unit Highlights

• Primary Cardiac and Stroke Unit
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Care for pre/post pacemaker, ICD, cardiac cath, CHF, dysrhythmias, CVA, TIA, and chest pain patients
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• COVID-positive patients may be assigned

• Fast-paced unit with high patient turnover (78-90 patients/week)

  Additional Information

• 13–26-week contracts available
• Call required based on patient census
• Float required
• Self-scheduling with manager oversight
• Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR used
• 36-hour orientation
• Scrubs: Navy Blue or White

Important Notes

• Weekend schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

• Maximum 7 days RTO at submission
