Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care on a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit, including both telemetry and step-down ICU patients
• Perform telemetry monitoring and telemetry strip reading
• Conduct fingerstick blood sugar monitoring and related bedside assessments
• Utilize Meditech for charting, Pyxis for medication administration, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment
• Float to other acute units within the facility, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER as needed
• Adhere to unit dress code; scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• BLS certification (current)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Progressive Care and telemetry experience strongly preferred
• ACLS certification (current preferred)
• Current PALS certification preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
