Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse in Manchester, NH. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a strong background in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Position / Specialty: IMC/IMU/PCU/STEPDOWN, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:

• 2 years of nursing experience required, with a strong PCU background within the last year.
• ED experience preferred, but not required.
• First-timers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years of experience; no first-timers accepted with only 1 year of experience.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival.

Floating Expectations:

• Helping Hands/Team Nursing approach.
• Will assist in being floated to similar units.
• Patient sitting as needed.
• You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team.

Patient Diagnoses:

• Chest Pain
• Syncope
• Heart Failure
• Sepsis
• Overdose
• GI Bleed
• COPD
• Pneumonia
• Will see Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Oncology, Orthopedic as overflow.
• S/p Cath with stent only (no CABG).
• ICD/Pacer insertions.
• Cardioversions.

Special Procedures / Unit Details:

• Manages/Titrates drips (most common are Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, Dobutamine).

Required Special Equipment:

• Bipap
• Cpap
• Vapotherm
• Alaris Pumps
• Phillips Monitoring System
