**Join Our Dynamic Cardiac IMCU Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Department:** Medical Surgical Telemetry - **Specialty:** Cardiac and Stepdown - **Openings:** 3 - **Shift:** 12-hour shifts - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week - **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** Only if census is low **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 36 - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients - 1:3-4 for PCU/Stepdown population - **Equipment:** Telemetry monitoring - **EHR:** Cerner - **Supervisors:** Calleigh Gomoll (Manager), Cherlynn Erickson (Director) **Patient Population:** - Diverse cardiac population including trauma and stepdown level of care, telemetry patients. **Must-Have Skills/Experience:** - Proficient in caring for cardiac patient populations - Experience with chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips - Knowledge of cardiac stepdown populations **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - Experience in PCU/Stepdown patient populations - Low level ICU skills **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** - Chest pain - VATS - Stroke/TIA - Pre & Post Open Heart Surgery - Pacemakers - Heart Blocks - Vascular conditions - Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) **Personality Fit:** - **Teamwork:** A vital component of our culture; collaboration is key! **Education:** - Required: Associate Degree in Nursing **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Blue or Navy - **Unacceptable Attire:** No blue jeans **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
