• Role: RN
• Specialty: Cardiac and Stepdown
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
• Call Requirements: Only if census is low

**Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIH

**Years of Experience:** 1 year in PCU or stepdown

**Float Requirements:** Yes

**Unit Information:**

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients; 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown population
• Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
• EHR: Cerner

**Patient Population:** Cardiac patients with trauma and stepdown level of care, Telemetry

**Hiring Profile:**

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac patient populations, chest tubes, cardiac monitoring and cardiac drips
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCU/Stepdown patient populations, Low-level ICU skills
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA, Pre&Post Open Heart Surgery, Pacemakers, Heart Blocks, Vascular, CHF
• Personality Fit: Teamwork is a must
• Required Education: Associate
