Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Johnstown, PA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiac care. Travelers must have Cardiac Cath experience and be willing to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids.

The facility is known for its clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. It features specialized services, including a regional Level 1 Trauma Center and a wide range of medical specialties. All candidates must complete and clear screenings prior to starting. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.

As a Travel RN in the PCU, you will be part of a team that handles a variety of cardiac cases, including chest pain, myocardial infarction, open heart procedures, and post-operative care. The patient ratio is typically 1 RN to 5 patients, with additional support from nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and manage cardiac patients, including those post-cardiac catheterization.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC EHR.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
