Join a leading acute-care hospital in Chattanooga, TN, as a Travel RN specializing in Med Surg. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential care to patients. We are seeking dedicated and skilled RNs with a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare.

Unit Specifics:

  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit staffing description: 30 cardiac med-surg beds, with 6 nurses per shift, a charge nurse, a unit secretary on dayshift, and 3 PCTs per shift.
  • Equipment: GE telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machine.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Scheduling requirements: Three full 12-hour shifts with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period.
  • Floating policy: Rotation with other travel nurses.

Patient Experience Requirements:

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry.
  • Must have: Cardiac/telemetry knowledge, EKG rhythm identification.

Dress Code: Required uniform is navy blue scrubs.

Awards/Recognition: This unit has the highest scoring for inpatient med-surg employee satisfaction and has received over 12 internal awards for employees and leaders.
