Cath Lab Tech – Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, neuro-interventional, and EP procedures
• Work as part of a 2-tech team: one tech scrubs while the other monitors hemodynamics/procedure needs
• Assist with STEMI and emergent cardiac cases
• Support procedures involving conscious/moderate sedation
• Assist with airway management during procedures
• Monitor/manage equipment and assist with cardiac drips, including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Assist with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) cases
• Follow procedural, sterile-technique, and patient-safety protocols
• Work with RNs, physicians, radiology staff, and other procedural team members
• May float/assist across the 5 cath/IR/EP suites based on department needs
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call

Requirements Current Cath Lab experience – REQUIRED ARRT – REQUIRED Fluoroscopy certification/credential – REQUIRED BLS – REQUIRED Must be comfortable with: Cardiac/coronary procedures Vascular/peripheral procedures General IR Neuro intervention Conscious/moderate sedation Airway management Cardiac drips Balloon pumps RCIS and CCT are NOT accepted License required at submission First-time travelers are welcome Must be willing to float first when needed
