Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a clinical setting. This role involves working in a dynamic Cath Lab environment with a focus on coronary and peripheral circ experience, along with exposure to advanced procedures and critically ill patients. The position requires completion of specific modules prior to arrival and offers a variety of day shifts with every other weekend rotation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with every other weekend. The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification, BLS certification, Fluoroscopy certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization, peripheral and coronary circulatory experience, experience with Merge systems is a plus. Candidates must have experience with the Cerner charting system and possess a license to submit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens or Phillips equipment in Cath Lab.
- Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities for handling critically ill patients, participating in complex procedures utilizing laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet technologies. The facility is a STEMI receiving center with a high volume of STEMI cases, and the team includes cardiologists and respiratory therapists on standby around the clock. The agency must provide a radiation badge for the traveler. The shift starts on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027, with 1-2 days of unit orientation. No floating is required.
