Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing vascular and cardiac procedures, including scrubbing in or assisting with fluoroscopy, during day shifts with on-call responsibilities. The position emphasizes a team-oriented environment supporting emergent and diagnostic interventions, with a focus on maintaining high standards for patient care and safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties. Minimum of 40 hours per week expected. The shift begins at 7:30 AM and concludes at 4:00 PM, with a 2-hour callback guarantee.
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) verification through CCI; up to 1 year of experience preferred. Candidates must supply a Radiation Badge prior to start, and a ND Radiologic Technology License is required if credentialed as an ARRT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV starts, or willingness to learn. Familiarity with equipment such as EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4-port manifold.
- Additional Information: The role includes scrubbing in and/or panning for a variety of cardiac procedures including emergent revascularizations, LHC, RHC, peripheral diagnostics/interventions, cardioversion, TEE, device management, and pericardiocentesis. The successful candidate may be responsible for panning fluoroscopy, with a preference for those with IV start experience. Must adhere to a 50-mile radius restriction and not be employed full-time or part-time with associated facilities. A one-week unit orientation is provided, and the role requires bringing personal locker lock and hospital-designated shoes.
