Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist - Westside Regional. This position involves providing specialized technical support for cardiac catheterization procedures within a busy hospital setting. The technologist will work on day shifts, assisting with procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebrovascular angiograms, stent placements, balloons, and ENT labs, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Details

  • Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist
  • Location: Westside Regional, Plantation, FL
  • Unit Information: Cath Lab (746) and Special Procedures (727) with 4 rooms and 22 staff members including RN and Techs.
  • Type of Staff: Day shift with 1 Charge RN, Director, and staff per room, total of 16 staff members per shift.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT certification, competent in Special Procedures & GE Innova; 1 year of experience minimum; candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RCIS, working in a fast-paced team environment, strong patient care focus, flexible and adaptable to on-call needs.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be team players, critical thinkers, and patient care-focused. On-call responsibilities are frequent. Proper attire includes surgical scrubs, which will be provided by the unit.
