Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, 0700-1930, working 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
  • BSN preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior adverse action or restriction on nursing license permitted

Additional Information

  • Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervises and directs nursing staff activities while coordinating care with other disciplines
  • Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
  • Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
  • Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery
  • Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
