Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in STEMI management and procedural support within a high-acuity, acute care setting.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Acute
  • Work Modality: On-site
  • Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts with one rotating day off each week
  • Call Requirements: Rotating weekday/weekend call coverage outside M-F 0700-1630, including 24-hour call shifts on weekends
  • Floating Requirements: Within the cath lab department only (Coronary, Neuro IR, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Prep & Recovery)
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital provided surgical scrubs
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3600 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing STEMI, PCI, and other cardiovascular procedures
  • Support electrophysiology studies, device implants, and synchronized cardioversions
  • Assist in acute stroke/thrombectomy and peripheral vascular interventions
  • Participate in pre/post procedural recovery

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or application in process
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • STEMI experience

Preferred:

  • IR and Neuro IR experience
