Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab position supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure recovery in an academic, Level I trauma setting. Responsibilities include moderate sedation administration, circulating, case documentation, and pre- and post-procedure monitoring. The role includes primarily day shifts with minimal night and weekend call.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/23/202602/20/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience charting in an electronic medical record; experience administering moderate sedation, circulating during procedures, documenting cases, and providing pre- and post-procedure monitoring.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac catheterization laboratory scrub experience.
- Additional Information: The cardiac catheterization laboratory supports procedures including left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, MitraClip, Watchman, EKOS, and left- and right-sided mechanical circulatory support devices. Minimal night and weekend call is required. An on-call apartment is available.
