Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CT or compact RN license and prior cath lab and ICU experience.

Details

  • Work in the Invasive Cardio Cath Lab, covering Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, and ER areas
  • Daily procedures with scheduled shifts Monday through Friday
  • Shift times are 7:00am-3:30pm or a mix of 7:00am-3:30pm and 7:00am-5:30pm shifts
  • On-call coverage required for weekends and holidays, including STEMI and acute neuroendovascular stroke cases
  • On-call shifts are covered by two RNs

Requirements

  • Active CT State RN license or compact license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Cath lab and ICU experience required
  • CCU and ER experience preferred
  • Two professional references from a manager or above required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care across Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, and ER settings as needed
  • Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
  • Returning travelers with prior Northwell or Nuvance Health experience must undergo an eligibility review before being considered
