Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring an active AK RN license and EP experience strongly preferred.

Details

  • Work in the Cath Lab of a Magnet, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours (7:00 AM-5:00 PM)
  • On-call required 1 day per week plus every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)
  • Approximately 1 Saturday per month worked as part of the scheduled shifts
  • May float within scope to EP or Interventional Radiology
  • May float to affiliate hospitals within the region
  • Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

  • Active AK RN license required and must be in hand for auto offer (pending license accepted but not for auto offer)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • EP experience strongly preferred
  • 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)

Additional Information

  • Perform cath lab nursing duties including procedural sedation monitoring, sheath removal, and interventional catheterization support
  • Scrubs provided by facility
  • Free parking available
  • Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
  • Only 1 time off request permitted per 13-week assignment, approved individually upon offer
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
  • Former Providence permanent staff must be separated for a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler
  • Travelers limited to a maximum of 1 calendar year at this facility, followed by a required 6-month break before returning
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
