Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts are scheduled as four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week. Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage is required as scheduled, generally from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least 2 years of experience
- Recent cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional scrubbing experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic documentation experience
- Community hospital experience
- Previous travel experience is not required
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Procedures may include intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement and removal, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), patent foramen ovale (PFO) procedures, structural heart procedures, MitraClip, Watchman, rotablator atherectomy, and shockwave therapy.
- Responsibilities may include procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia management, sheath removal and monitoring, vascular closure, intravenous therapy, and cardiac device procedures.
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
- Flu vaccination is required without exemptions.
