Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist located in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac cath procedures, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols. The position is ideal for experienced healthcare professionals with a background in cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment management.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) are required.
- Education Requirements: Iowa/state licensure or multistate license, with 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience.
- Years of Experience: 24 years of relevant clinical experience in a cardiac catheterization setting.
- Location Requirements: Must possess an active Iowa/state license or a multistate license.
- Schedule: Days shift, 9-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include supporting patient care during coronary PCI and structural heart procedures, operating equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Penumbra, and verifying proficiency with EPIC Cupid EMR.
- Additional Information: Applicants must have at least 2 years of Cath experience, demonstrate competency with vasopressor, vasodilator, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors, and be available for on-call shifts with obligations including weekends and holidays.
