Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in cardiac catheterization procedures. The role involves providing direct nursing care, participating in patient education, and supporting clinical procedures related to cardiac intervention and monitoring. The RN will work independently and as part of an inter-professional team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association; experience in ICU, CVICU, PACU, or TELE with at least 1 year of RN experience in these areas; minimum 0 years of experience required.
- Shift: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: EPIC experience required. Must be able to work at least one minor holiday and one major holiday during the assignment.
- Additional Information: The role requires experience with equipment such as Impella, Rodo, ECMO, Balloon Pump, Shockwave, Vego IVUS, OCT, and Angio Vac. Performs procedures involving cannulation, with float rotation between Downtown-Baker and North Naples. The candidate will participate in call rotations, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute response time. Preparation for and administration of care during complex cardiac procedures is essential.
