Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment in Danbury, CT. This role involves providing advanced procedural care in high-acuity, invasive cardiovascular environments, including Cardiac Catheterization, Neuro-Interventional, and Structural Heart procedures. The RN will deliver specialized patient care, operate in team-based settings, and support complex interventions.
Job Details
- Qualifications: CT RN License; minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology laboratories; proficient in circulating and scrubbing in Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Neuro procedures; strong procedural, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring skills; ability to function effectively in high-acuity environments; BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
- Preferred Qualifications: CCRN, CV RCIS, or Neuro experience (Mechanical thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, Embolizations).
- Schedule: Days shift with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times from 6 AM to 8 AM. Weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities based on departmental needs, including one weekday night shift from 5 PM to 7 AM, every fourth weekend from 5 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday, along with some holidays.
- Additional Information: The role requires strong interdisciplinary communication and the ability to monitor and assist in high-acuity invasive cardiovascular and neuro-interventional procedures. Submission of your credentials and licensing documentation is required to be considered.
