Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a SC or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience.

Details

  • Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 labs and approximately 10 cases daily
  • Perform and assist with procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
  • Uses GE x-ray equipment and documentation via Maclab and Meditech systems
  • Day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • On-call requirements include 7-9 call days monthly with at least one weekend
  • Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent cath lab experience required
  • Advanced emergency medication knowledge required
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab setting
  • Scrubs are provided as part of the dress code
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
