- Position Description:
The registered nurse in this role will deliver patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory unit, ensuring adherence to standards of care and safety protocols. Responsibilities include initial patient assessment, developing individualized care plans, performing point-of-care testing, and collaborating with the healthcare team. - Required Qualifications:
Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or a current Compact state license, BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS certification via AHA, at least 3 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting, and the ability to work full-time day shifts (7 AM 5 PM) for a minimum of 40 hours per week. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment. - Schedule:
Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. - Additional Information:
On-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per month. No float rotation specified. The role involves active participation in patient education, discharge planning, and quality improvement activities.
