Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring scrubbing ability and 1+ years of cath lab or ICU critical care experience.

Details

• Cardio-Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure rooms
• Circulating in the cath lab with 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call requirement of one night per week and every third weekend
• Scrub color provided by facility
• Uses Cerner and MacLab EMR systems
• Availability required for July 4th weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Must be able to scrub for procedures
• 1+ years of recent experience required
• Emergency cath lab experience preferred or ICU critical care experience considered
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide circulating nursing support in a 2-room cardiac cath lab
• Blocked schedules are not available, though facility will attempt to arrange occasional long weekends
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
