Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) professional to join the team at a facility located in Bryan and College Station, Texas. This role involves providing expert care during cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization procedures in an acute care setting. The position requires the candidate to work an 8-hour day shift with call responsibilities, supporting a busy cath lab with a variety of cases.
Job Details
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS; minimum of 2 years of experience; licensed to submit; required to have a valid drivers license at the time of submission; experience with circulating cases in a cath lab setting.
- Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm days, with call approximately 10-11 days per month including one weekend; response time for call is 30 minutes.
- Schedule Duration: From 10/26/2026 to 01/18/2027
- Clinical Responsibilities: Assist with cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patient care; monitor cases using GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System; scrub cases with RCIS and RT techs; circulate cases with RN staff; perform independently after orientation.
- Additional Information: Three days of orientation provided; expected to be able to circulate cases independently by Thursday or Friday of the orientation week; ensure circulating competency to handle cases properly; the facility has four cath labs, primarily operating three at a time; about 5-15 cases daily, including EP procedures such as ICDs, Pacemakers, and Ablations.
