Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with prior Cath Lab or IR experience for a hospital position that includes on-call responsibilities.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure labs and 5 patient bays
  • Staffed with 2 FT RNs and 5 FT RCIS technologists
  • Uses GE/MacLab equipment
  • Documentation performed in Meditech
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with after-hours on-call required
  • Provides pre, intra, and post care for cardiac patients
  • Approximately 3 STEMI cases per month with minimal callback burden while on-call

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Previous Cath Lab or IR experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Royal blue scrubs required as part of the dress code
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
  • First-time travelers are not addressed in this posting
