Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab position supporting procedural care in a specialized cardiac catheterization setting. The role involves assisting with cardiac and interventional procedures while collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Electrophysiology experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts are 10 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes one full weekend and two weekdays, totaling 10 shifts per four-week schedule.
- Additional Information: The cardiac catheterization lab includes three procedure rooms and supports left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator procedures, Watchman procedures, interventional radiology procedures, vascular procedures, and pulsed field ablations. The procedural team consists of three staff members per patient procedure. On-call coverage may include registered nurses and cardiac catheterization laboratory technologists. Procedural guidelines include universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines. Scrub attire is provided.
