Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care for cardiac patients through pre, intra, and post-procedural management.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 2 Labs, 5 Patient Bays
Staffing: 2 Full-Time RNs, 5 Full-Time RCIS
Type of Equipment: GE/MacLab
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, plus after-hours on-call duty

Qualifications

Must have previous Cath Lab/IR experience
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Patient Care Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for cardiac patients, including:

Pre-procedural assessment and preparation
Intra-procedural support and monitoring
Post-procedural care and education

Work Environment

This unit generally experiences three STEMI cases per month, and the on-call commitment is manageable with minimal callbacks.

Required uniform: Royal Blue Scrubs
