Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catheterization lab procedures and possess the necessary certifications to provide excellent patient care.

General Information

• Unit Specifics:
• • Number of Labs: 2
  • Number of Patient Bays: 5
• Staffing Description: The unit is currently staffed with 2 Full-Time RNs and 5 Full-Time RCIS Technologists.
• Type of Equipment: GE/MacLab
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Monday – Friday, with flexibility for after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Requested Skill Set: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Experience
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab / IR setting is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre, intra, and post-procedural care for cardiac patients.
• Assist in various catheterization procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Additional Information

• Generally handling around 3 STEMI cases per month.
• The on-call requirement is minimal, providing a balanced work-life environment.
• Uniform: Royal Blue Scrubs are required.
