Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) Days 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027. This 13-week assignment involves working in a hospitals Cardiac Cath Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment with call responsibilities, aligning with the units focus on cardiac interventions.
Job Details
- Location: Cardiac Cath Lab within a healthcare facility on the first floor of a medical center dedicated to cardiac procedures.
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Cardiac Cath Lab settings; 1-year experience preferred but not required.
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL)
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and call required.
- Additional Information: The unit includes three Cardiac Cath Labs, an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and a Hybrid Lab, staffed by a Charge RN and three Cath Lab RNs, along with three Cardiovascular Technicians (CVTs). Procedures performed include cardiac diagnostic tests, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), Impella device placement, peripheral vascular angiograms/angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies.
- Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Typical hiring profile: Day shift, with experience in catheterization procedures preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
