Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 26-week assignment requiring circulating cath lab experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit with 4 procedure rooms and a holding area
  • 1:1 patient ratios
  • Unit staffed with CV analysts, RNs, and RT scrub techs
  • Utilizes GE imaging equipment
  • Documentation via Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR
  • 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call required 6-8 shifts per month, including one weekend per month
  • No floating required
  • Supports procedures including LHC, RHC, coronary intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Cath lab circulating experience required
  • Sedation experience, atherectomy, IVUS, and thrombectomy experience a plus
  • RCIS certification a plus
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab setting supporting complex cardiovascular procedures
  • Facility is Atrial Fibrillation Certified and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI
  • Facility is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
