General Information

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 2

· Patient Ratios : 3 person lab with 4 person call team

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): N/A

· Type of equipment: Standard Cath Lab Equipment (Boston, Abbot, Healthcare, Terumo, Abiomed, etc.)

· Documentation system: Merge / Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: 4 x 10 (0700-1730)

· Floating policy: Possible EP Lab

· Patient Experience requirements: Minimum 2 years cath lab experience

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: RN, RCIS / CVRN preferred

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have : Experienced in circulating cardiac cath / structural cases with working knowledge of cath lab equipment, procedures, and moderate sedation.

Advanced skills needed: Preferred experience with advance skill set of scrubbing (assist) with MD; Preferred previous experience of monitoring cases

Procedures performed on unit: Standard Cardiac Cath and Structural Cases

Certifications Required: RN, BLS, ACLS Preferred: RCIS / CVRN

Dress Code : (Required uniform)

· Navy / Royal Blue / Gray Scrubs

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.

· Call shifts up to 14 per month with the standard 10-12 shifts per month
