Unit Information

Location: Houston, TX

Unit: Cath Lab

This facility features a 3-room Cath Lab suite equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Various cardiovascular, interventional radiology (IR), and vascular procedures are performed from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills

• Strong clinical skills to manage diverse procedures and patient needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Radiology Technologist, ICU, ER, and caring for critically ill patients

Typical Procedures Performed

• Cardiac, IR, and vascular cases
• Electrophysiology (EP) cases

Best Personality Fit

Ideal candidates should excel at collaborating with various personalities, demonstrate effective communication, remain calm under pressure, and apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Required Certifications

• ACLS and BLS required
• MRT license for those working with radiological equipment in Texas is required along with specialty certifications
• Critical Care and Trauma certifications are preferred

Dress Code

Scrubs are provided for all staff.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

On-call responsibilities include approximately 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.

Experience Required

1 year of relevant experience is required.
