Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring prior cath lab experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 7-bed Cardiac Cath Lab holding area
• Uses GE Innova and Impella equipment
• Documentation via MacLab and Meditech systems
• Schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• STEMI call required approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Self-scheduling available
• Floating within EP and Stress Lab departments

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cath lab experience required, including structural heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR skills
• Advanced skills needed in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP
• Experience with procedures including TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, implants, and DCCV/TEE

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and support for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Surgical scrubs provided by the hospital
• Experienced staff on the unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
