  • Number of Beds: Cardiac Cath Lab (3 procedure Rooms)
  • Staffing: 9 total staff members including RNs and Cath Lab Technologists
  • Day Shift Staff: 1 Supervisor, 3 RNs, 2 Cath Lab Technologists
  • Night Shift Staff: On-call staff (2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Technologist or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Technologists)
  • Patient Ratios: 3 team members per 1 patient procedure
  • Equipment: Phillips and Siemens Fluoroscopic equipment
  • Electronic Medical Record System: MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skill Set

  • Must Have:
    • BLS Certification
    • ACLS Certification
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Electrophysiology experience

Common Procedures

  • Left and right heart catheterizations
  • Pacemaker/ICD placements and Watchman procedures
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
  • Vascular procedures
  • Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations (PFA)

Personality Fit

Certifications

  • Required: BLS, ACLS

Floating Areas

  • Pre/Post Cath Department

Dress Code

Scrub Color/Attire: Hospital provided - Sky Blue

Unit Guidelines and Policies

Includes procedural guidelines such as universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

The schedule includes one full weekend plus two weekdays for a total of ten shifts over a four-week period.
