Unit Profile

The Cath Lab unit is committed to providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures. This unit operates with seasoned professionals and utilizes advanced technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Number of Beds: 223
• Type of Equipment: GE systems
• Documentation System: Machab, Cardiohab
• Scheduling Requirements: 5-8’s, Call rotation
• Patient Experience Requirements: ACLS, BLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with procedures including catheterizations, electrophysiology, vascular interventions, and interventional radiology.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment effectively in the Cath Lab setting.
• Provide patient education and support throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Proficient in the procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
