Unit Information

Number of Beds: 510
Unit Staffing: 2 RNs and 3 Cardiovascular Technologists (CVT) in the Electrophysiology Lab
Type of Equipment: GE Innova X-ray system, Merge & GE MacLab Hemo System
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, No Weekends, No Call
Patient Experience Requirements: N/A

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will be responsible for:

Assisting in the implementation of device implants and cardiac ablation procedures.
Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Utilizing advanced equipment and technology to perform cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

Required Experience: At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Required Certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), ACLS, and BLS.
Desired Skills: Experience with device implants and ablations, including SVT and Atrial Fibrillation (Afib).

Dress Code

Hospital provided scrubs will be the required uniform.
