Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Burn specialty position located in a medical facility setting. This role involves providing specialized care for burn and reconstructive patients, including stroke and cardiac cases, within a high-acuity environment. The position is for night shifts with a focus on independent practice and clinical expertise.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU burn unit or similar high-acuity setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with burn and reconstructive patient care, proficiency in dressing changes, ability to work independently.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 22-bed Burn and Reconstructive unit with a staff of 35, including registered nurses, patient care technicians, and clinical staff. Treatments include dressing changes; candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Weekend coverage is every other weekend; no on-call duties required.
