Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Burn in Dallas, Texas. The position provides comprehensive care for critically ill patients in an intensive care setting, including ventilated patients and patients requiring titrated intravenous medication infusions. The role requires strong critical care skills, collaboration with physicians and colleagues, and compassionate patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Assignment dates are 11/17/2026 through 02/16/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; strong intensive care experience; experience titrating medication infusions; experience caring for patients receiving mechanical ventilation; experience caring for patients receiving bilevel positive airway pressure; ability to provide total care to critically ill patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) experience; kidney, pancreas, or liver transplant experience.
- Additional Information: The role includes care of critically ill patients, patient turning, medication infusion titration, dressing changes, and tracheostomy care. Patient assignments may include a 2:1 ratio. Equipment may include ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy, arterial lines, bilevel positive airway pressure, flow-track monitoring, and intravenous pumps. Rotating weekend coverage is required. Blue scrubs are required. Report times are 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.
