Job Summary:
A Certified First Surgical Assistant working in the surgical department of a healthcare facility in Nashville, TN. This role involves supporting various surgical procedures, including neurosurgery, orthopaedics, robotics, and general surgeries. The position offers an engaging environment with experienced staff, advanced technology, and flexible scheduling options.
Job Details:
- Certifications: STFA or RNFA; CPR
- Education Requirements: Must be a registered nurse in Tennessee or a compact state, or a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be located within Tennessee or a compact state
- Years of Experience: 0+ years of OR experience in the current role (RN, CST, FA, RNFA)
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Call shifts as needed, no more than 1 per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Endovascular experience; DaVinci robotics experience; Meditech charting experience (RN)
- Responsibilities include assisting with neurosurgery, orthopaedics, robotic surgeries, vascular, and endovascular procedures, among others.
- Dress Code: Navy or Ceil blue scrubs (not provided); hospital scrubs available to change into for dirty cases
- Additional information: Candidates should bring their surgical experience, advanced skills in respective procedures, and a team-oriented approach.
