Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Med/Surg position requiring 2 years of infusion experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Ambulatory oncology setting focused on infusion therapy
  • Patient ratio of 1:8
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
  • BLS certification required
  • 2 years of infusion experience required
  • Ambulatory oncology experience required
  • Must complete a chemotherapy test and demonstrate competency in administration (chemo certification not required)
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments to oncology patients in an ambulatory care setting
  • Blue scrubs required
  • Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last shift worked
