Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Infusion position requiring 2 years of infusion experience and chemotherapy competency testing.

Details

  • Ambulatory oncology infusion center setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:8
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Day shift schedule from 8:00am to 5:30pm
  • No floating required
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
  • Blue scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
  • BLS certification required
  • Chemotherapy certification not required, but must pass a chemotherapy test and demonstrate competency in administration
  • Minimum 2 years of infusion experience required
  • Ambulatory oncology experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Administer infusion therapy to ambulatory oncology patients
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
  • Returning permanent employees may be considered 12 months after their last shift worked
