Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in wound, ostomy, and continence care; pertinent education or degree; at least 2 years of related experience, including 1 year of travel experience; located in or willing to work in Maine.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient acute wound care, continence care, and ostomy care experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Provides patient education and supports system-wide care initiatives.
    • Monitors equipment and performs treatments involving ostomy, wound, fistula drainage, percutaneous tubes, and incontinence management.
    • Ensures compliance with mandatory reporting, legal consent, transfer protocols, and safety standards.
    • May handle biomedical, pharmaceutical, hazardous, and universal wastes per regulatory requirements.
    • Understands and demonstrates safe handling of hazardous drugs if assigned.
