Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled. The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based, hands-on patient care while assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and educating patients and families. The role promotes patient safety, family-centered care, professional development, and continuous improvement in nursing practice.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license; current American Heart Association (AHA) certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; effective communication skills in English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing the nursing process; assessing and interpreting patient data; developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans; coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare team members; providing patient and family education; activating emergency protocols when needed; delegating tasks appropriately; supporting patient and employee safety; contributing to team building and quality improvement; maintaining current nursing knowledge; and participating in staff education, shared governance, professional publications, or presentations.
